THE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RESIN: EPOXY RESIN HI-BUILD!
Resin that stays right where you dropped it. Sound extraordinary? It is.
This resin is controllable because it is very thick and sticky. So perfect for Blob Art and Dod Art. Perfect whenever you want to keep resin exactly where you apply it.
Also on a wall. Or on a sculpture that you can partially or completely coat with HI-BUILD Resin. For example. What do you think of?
THE PRODUCT HI-BUILD
That's it.
HI-BUILD Resin is a high-viscosity, two-component resin that offers the benefits of 3D height.
It can.
HI-BUILD becomes a hard and glassy varnish when its two individual components are mixed together. It also offers the best possible protection against yellowing. This is ensured by so-called UV stabilizers: Our products contain a UV absorber and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer)
That's what it's for.
HI-BUILD has a high viscosity and is a very thick resin. That is why it is perfect for blob art, dot art, geode art and the so-called doming.
With HI-BUILD you can create custom effects that add three-dimensional depth to your work.
Particularities.
Due to its thick and sticky consistency, HI-BUILD is one of the most manageable resins on the market. No sagging, slipping or flowing, HI-BUILD stays right where you put it. It comes in a creamy color by default and can be colored with various pigments. Use a suitable resin pigment, such as Resi-TINT, Resi-TINT MAX or an equivalent of our products.
Measure, mix and apply HI-BUILD
1.) Resin and hardener from HI-BUILD are mixed by volume 1:1. Place the two components in a suitable mixing cup.
2.) Stir the measured amount in the mixing cup. Use a plastic spatula for this. Stir slowly and thoroughly for 3-5 minutes; also on the bottom and edges of the mixing cup.
3.) Your mix is ??now complete and you now have 25-30 minutes to process the resin. After that, it becomes even thicker and begins to harden.
4.) You have previously prepared your painting surface, which means: it has been dusted off, degreased and is lying flat on your work surface. Now you can color the resin with a resin pigment of your choice and drip onto your surface using a plastic spatula. You can use this process to create three-dimensional shapes.
5.) HI-BUILD is a high-quality product that produces only small bubbles, if any. If bubbles appear, simply remove them with the heat of a Bunsen burner or a heat gun. To do this, walk about 30 cm above your surface in swinging movements. Don't get closer than 30cm to your artwork or there is a risk of ripples and pits forming in the resin finish.
6.) Protect your work from dust or other foreign objects by working in an environment that is as dust-free as possible. Cover it when it's done.
7.) The best way to clean the hardened surface is with a damp Cloth.
You should pay attention to this:
Although our resins are formulated with the most advanced and safest epoxy chemistry available, you should handle all epoxy resins responsibly and be proactive about your safety:
• Always wear nitrile gloves.
• When sanding cured resin, wear a dust mask, and better yet, wear safety goggles.
• It is advisable to work in a well-ventilated area and to wear a Respirator.
• Avoid skin contact (if resin gets on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water).
• DO NOT eat, drink or smoke while working.
• If eyes get dirty, wash with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
• Adding inks/varnishes/mica powder/glitter to epoxy changes its properties and may reduce its non-toxicity. If you are using alcohol ink, DO NOT use a flame to remove bubbles as alcohol is flammable.

HI-BUILD Resin is available in 400g, 2kg, 4kg and 10kg sizes.
OUR HYDROFLOW, ECO-FRIENDLY AND WATER-BASED
That's it.
Our hydroflow is a water-based casting compound that you can use to create decorative and functional objects. It offers a cement-like surface that you can decorate with various objects.
It can.
Our hydroflow consists of two components, a mineral powder and a water-based acrylic binder. The hydroflow is easy to color with water-based pigments such as the resi-TINT acrylic inks and is particularly easy to use. You can also add sand, quartzite, shards, dried flowers or mica to your hydroflow object, for example.
That's what it's for.
Our hydroflow offers you various application possibilities. You can craft objects such as coasters, vases, bowls, plates, or planters. Jewelery or sculptures are also possible. You can even create pieces of furniture such as side tables with hydroflow, or you can use hydroflow in structural art.
Particularities.
Due to its water-based formula, hydroflow is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. It offers heat resistance up to 125°C, has a shelf life of up to one year and can be decorated with various solids. Hydroflow is porous and can be sealed with an acrylic sealer such as our resi-CRETE acrylic emulsion with a brush.
Measuring, mixing and processing hydroflow
1.) Mineral powder and water-based acrylic binder are mixed by volume 2.5:1. Place the two components in a suitable mixing cup.
2.) Stir the measured amount in the mixing cup. Use a plastic spatula for this. Stir slowly and thoroughly for 2-3 minutes; also on the bottom and edges of the mixing cup.
3.) Once your mass has reached a creamy consistency, add your desired pigment. You can add a little pigment to the water-based acrylic binder before mixing the two components.
4.) Your mixture is now ready and you have 10-20 minutes to process the hydroflow. After that it becomes too thick and begins to harden.
5.) You have prepared your mold beforehand, which means: it has been dusted off, degreased and is lying flat on your work surface. Now pour the hydroflow color mixture into your mould.
6.) Stir the mass inside the mold to remove any air bubbles. This also applies if the mass thickens quickly when pouring.
7.) The hardening process takes 20-40 minutes. Your form will begin to heat up with the chemical reaction.
8.) After one to two hours you can remove your mold from your object. You then have the opportunity to further edit your art object. It is a good idea to cover your object with clear resin or to seal it with our resi-CRETE acrylic emulsion.
