resi-METAL Pigment paste   The new resi-METAL prepolymer pigments were specially developed as solvent-free color additives, which crosslink chemically with the polymer binder resin. This ensures that the metallic color and texture remain constant once the resin system has cured. They can be used to color most polymer resin systems (epoxy, polyester and polyurethane).   The recommended amount to add is 2% -5% by weight (between 2 - 5 parts per 100). Even a tiny amount will turn clear resins into shimmering metallic colors, without changing or interrupting the curing cycle of the resin or the cured properties. interrupt them. Important facts about resi-TINT MAX Pearl Effect   Pre-polymer based color pastes have a high viscosity, i.e. they are viscous. Depending on the quantity, resi-TINT MAX colors resin semi-transparent to opaque and dries with a pearlescent shimmer. For 200 ml mixed resin you need only 2-5 g resi-TINT MAX. The degree of light fastness is predominantly very high. Most of our resi-TINT MAX inks have a BW light fastness class of 8.     Application of resi-TINT MAX    resi-TINT MAX is easy to mix into the mixed resin. Add it and stir well. This color paste is well suited for all resin systems from Eli-Chem. For stronger effects in the resin surface, add additional resi-BLAST to the mixture of resin and pigment paste. resi-TINT MAX Pearl effect pastes are available in 18 color shades in a 50 g container.
